Directions:  Drive east on I-20.  I prefer staying on I-20 to Exit 1 in South Carolina, going about 6 miles, turning left on N Martintown Rd and driving about 3 miles to the trailhead on the left , but the below directions leave I-20 at Exit 172, Thomson.  It’s a pretty drive that takes you over Clark Hill Lake, so it’s up to you. https://www.google.com/maps/dir/Atlanta,+GA/Forks+Area+Trail+System,+Woodlawn+Rd,+Clarks+Hill,+SC+29821/@33.6108336,-84.3733905,8z/am=t/data=!4m14!4m13!1m5!1m1!1s0x88f5045d6993098d:0x66fede2f990b630b!2m2!1d-84.3879824!2d33.7489954!1m5!1m1!1s0x88f82db5c4809ec1:0x36ff55a5b0e5b887!2m2!1d-82.0796833!2d33.6081649!5i1

From the Hare:  We won’t do all of the available trails on Saturday (in fact, we won’t do the toughest one because I’m not really fond of that one, but technical riders would probably like it), so if you want to stay over and ride again on Sunday, my dad has offered his place which has tons of crash space.  And since he lives on the 16th fairway of Persimmon Hill Golf Club, I’ve scheduled a tee time of 8:30am on Sunday for anyone who would like to play a few holes before riding again.  For dinner Saturday night, we can stop by a Mexican restaurant on the way to Dad’s house.  Dad and I will cook breakfast on Saturday morning.  BYOB for after the hash.

And to repeat one more time, I will be riding the trails on Friday.  FATS is maintained by SORBA,
which is strict about riding the trails during or after a heavy rain.

PLEASE NOTE:  These trails are maintained by SORBA.  They are pretty strict about riding the trails during or after a heavy rain and it looks like this could possibly be a wet weekend.

Check for trail closures at the link below before heading out on Saturday morning.

Also, Primer is riding back with me on Sunday because Service cannot stay over.  If someone wants to stay over, but is riding with someone who cannot stay over, I can bring back two more people on Sunday, but my rack only holds two bikes, so we would need to work that part out.

ON ON!   Breaststroke
