Ride #279 - 03/16/2008- Hares- Puff'n'Stuff and Scratch'n'Sniff

"SNOBHOPPER 2008"

After a weekend of tornadoes pounding Atlanta, the weather gave us a beautiful day to rid up in the exclusive Barnsley Gardens resort golf course and redneck shooting range.  The trail was in interesting mix of rocky single track and access roads, briers, and clay pigeons.  The long measured out to about 7 miles and the short was only 2 or 3.  Most of the people that did the long thought it wasn't long enough and went back to do the short and some of the people that did the short decided to do the long also.  Well Hung wanted extra credit for his FRB after riding the long so he decided to ride the short 2 or 3 times.

Puff'n'Stuff and Scrtach'n'Sniff turned out to be effective yet lazy Hares despite being a bit over overzealous with the checks - some of which they aborted with arrows.  The FRB's were Black Box and Well Hung.  The DFL's were Martha Screwit, Brad, Dunkin Honuts, and Primer.  We had one Virgin, Stan Crane, and two First Timers, Dunkin Honuts and Pumpkin.  We drank Jubilees for Martha Screwit and Lot Lizard who each rode their tenth ride and we finally named Patrick who shall henceforth be known as Little Dingy.  Dawn also came back for the good beer a fifth time so she earned the name Bush Trimmer.  We sang to ridicule the Too Longs who were Cock Blocker, Four More Beers, Little Easy and Sore Ass.  And finally, we gave Rule 6 Violations to Little Easy for forgetting his helmet and deciding to trail-run the hash and I (Dream of Weenie) got one for tearing a hole in my shorts bigger than my ass!
