Roswell Mayor's Ride Sunday May 4th

Posted by Barbara Grove at March 17. 2008

For all that were at the hash yesterday, this is what 4 More Beers was talking about.

It is a road bike ride, but you could do it on a mountain bike if you really want to. Service & I will most likely be doing the 20 mile route, and then staying to watch the Rowell Criterium  http://www.roswellcriterium.com/ that afternoon.

Just bumping this info back to the top........

Any of you that like to road bike might be interested in joining a few of us for the Roswell Mayor's Ride on Sunday morning May 4th. It is hosted by Four More Beers, who is better known as Jere Wood.

Ride starts at 08:00AM at Roswell Recreational Area Park, 10495 Woodstock Rd, Roswell, GA 30076

Service and Primer and a few others will be getting there about 7:30-7:45. We plan to meet at the first parking lot when you come into the park on the left. The actual gathering point for the ride is further into the park. I'm not sure which distance we will ride, maybe 20 miles, maybe 40 miles. You don't have to decide until you are almost done with the 20.

There also is the Roswell Crit that afternoon in historic Roswell, bring a camp chair and a cooler of beverages and it can be a nice way to spend the afternoon.

Details are here:  http://www.bikeroswell.com/Mayors_Ride/mayors_ride.html

Feel free to email me with any questions - primer at wheelhopper dot com
or - post something on the forum at www.wheelhopper.com
