Located in Western
North Carolina in the Pisgah National Forest, just 4 miles east of the
town of Brevard. Davidson River Campground is located on the Davidson
River along HWY 276. Nearby to Sliding Rock, Looking Glass Falls, and
the Blue Ridge Parkway. Campground has a 2 vehicle / 2 tent maximum.
Additional vehicles will be charged a $3.00 fee upon arrival. *Quiet
Hours are 10PM to 7AM *Gate closes 11PM and reopens at 7AM *Modern
Restrooms and showers available on each loop *Public telephone
available *Must occupy site within first 24 hours or forfeit *First
come, first serve sites available Golden Age / Golden Access accepted,
but cardholder MUST be present Attractions include regular Interpretive
Programs from Memorial Day through Labor Day, with limited programs
through October 31; Sliding Rock, The Cradle of Forestry Discovery
Center; many hiking trails and waterfalls. Campground is open year -
round and APPLE TREE LOOP is available for reservations from Jan 1 -
