GET YOUR GREEN ON!!

The Honorable Atlanta Society of Hashers (HASH) will again be participating in the St. Patrick’s Day parade right here in downtown Atlanta.   Surly Temple will be bringing his truck which will we decorate with Shamrocks and other green paraphernalia and it will carry the Irish beverage we all love so…….BEER,  and other assorted Irish whiskey’s. 

So get started on your outfit for the day – the hash will start late to accommodate us getting back for it.  The parade route is one mile long – shorter than an SOB!  And we have over 1,000 necklaces to throw at the crowd. 

Wear your green tights, green running shirts, green tattoos on your face (I will bring some with me) and of course – CHUM RAG You need green hair!  We may also need ‘hares’ for the parade since as we have learned – it’s not quite as regulated as we have been told.  The hares can walk/run in front of our group and lay green flour for us to follow.  At the reviewing stand, they announce us and read our ‘descriptive paragraph’ – need to think of something fun to do at that point.

All of the info for where to go and how to get there and what time will be posted by Thursday 3/12 on the Atlantahash.com forum under this title.   Dogs who are on leash and well behaved are welcome in this parade – and all are usually dressed up for it.  Sure hope the weather is friendlier this year – no tornadoes!
