YO!

Where did the ride end - or did it?

We looked around EVERYWHERE last Sunday for Wheelhoppers and/or flour.

NITS. NOTHIN'. NONEYA.

Barely any flour at the start too!

Man, that REALLY sucked because we prepped all week for the daytrip to Decatur; with hours spent in front of the mirror perfecting the best blank-focused, Elvis Costello eye-glass-wearing "Fuck Bush, McCain and the United States" EMO faces we could conjure.

I mean, that took WORK folks.

And to fit in further, with bad posture and attitudes to match, we donned dark brown "Atari Teenage Riot" T-shirts; dark denim straight leg jeans roll-cuffed half an inch at the bottom; black Keds shoes (scuffed ever so slightly to maintain our street cred, of course); and three-day stubble so the Marlboro Light smoke-blowing man haters at the pub could emasculate us freely as though we were one of their own.

Wish we could have caught up with you guys before the hatefest, but the good news is one of the guys from our group nearly got his eyes gouged out by a seventh-year Georgia State Women's Studies grad student, and another was slapped broadside with the bottom of this chick's Birkenstock.

So, THANKFULLY, the afternoon wasn't a TOTAL loss!

there were riders spread out all over northeast Atlanta, but as for the flour...... well, you had about as much luck as we did. End was somewhere at Mason mill park, so somewhere in that vicinty - not too far from the start. A few never did make it to the end.........

Puff - maybe you need to step up & be a hare again? Maybe you need to come ride with us again sometime?

MABYE SO! I'm ready to hare, believe me. There's nothing like getting gobs of flour and loose sand in your shifter pods and disc brake housings!

But for real: Docs should be giving me clearance to get back on a bicycle (mountain bike) any time now.

I LOVE YA' AND I MISS YA'and I have three or four spectacular trails ready to go!

None as expensive as the Most Expensive Wheelhopper of All-Time ride at Barnsley Gardens earlier this year, tho....

Let's do a campout up in northwest GA in October. Is there anyone haring then (haven't looked at the ride calendar to know, if that's even accurate....)_

Just read that they're doing Pisgah in October.
