This is promised to be a fun tour of Athens & the University of Georgia. We will have a bar ending, (we don't want to mess with those campus cops that take their jobs too seriously) - so this week the cost of the hash will be $8.

The cost is $8.00.
We meet at 1:00 for a 1:30 start.
Bring a bag with a change of clothes and shoes.
The start is in the Staff and Faculty Parking Lot of the University of Georgia located on S. Thomas Street.
From Downtown Atlanta, take I-85 North to GA 316 (University Parkway).
Take GA 316 East for approx. 39.5 miles to the Athens By-Pass (Loop) which is marked US29/US78/Ga 10. Take the University of Georgia/Lexington/Hartwell exit onto US 29/US78/Ga 10. This is a right turn. If you cross US 29/US78/GA 10 and find yourself at the Waffle House, you have missed the exit. Also, once on the Athens By-Pass, you may notice signs marking it as the Paul Broun Parkway.
Take the Athens By-Pass approx 5 miles to Exit 7 which is the College Station Road exit. After exiting the Athens By-Pass on exit 7, you will come to a traffic signal. Turn left onto College Station Road at the traffic signal. Go through two traffic signals to the railroad tracks. After crossing the railroad tracks, turn right at the traffic signal onto East Campus Road.
Travel north on East Campus road through several traffic lights. When you see Sanford Stadium on your left, the next traffic light will be at the intersection with Baldwin Street. You will cross Baldwin Street. At this point, East Campus Road becomes S. Thomas Street. You will see the Staff and Faculty Parking lot on your right on S. Thomas Street. Turn into the parking lot at one of the entrances. We will be near the Staff Training and Development Building.
