Ride #262 - 05/19/2007 Campout by Circle Jerk and Company!! Please go to the Wheelhopper forum if you want to camp & have not lined up a campsite. All sites are booked, but there should be extra spaces available on the sites we already have.

The cost is $6.00. You get a fine and varied selection of bottled beer and orange-colored snacks.
We meet at 1:00 for a 1:30 start.
Bring a bag with a change of clothes and shoes.
Directions to Twin Lakes Campground:
From I-285 perimeter "spaghetti junction" take I-85N to Clemson, SC approx. 95 miles.
Take Exit 14 "Clemson Research Park" Hwy 187.
Turn left off interstate and go approx. 2.5 miles to "Fants Grove Rd."
Turn left on "Fants Grove Rd." and proceed about 4 miles to next "T" in road.
Turn left on "Twin Lakes Rd." and proceed 1/2 mile to campground on your right.
P.S. You can follow the brown "TWIN LAKES RECREATION AREA" signs to the campground. First brown sign is at Fants Grove Rd./Hwy 187 intersection.
Directions to Hash Start:
From I-285 perimeter "spaghetti junction" take I-85N to Clemson, SC approx. 95 miles.
Take Exit 14 "Clemson Research Park" Hwy 187.
Turn left and go approx. 5 miles until a "T" in the road at Hwy 76.
Turn left on Hwy 76 and go approx. 5 miles- until you reach another "T" at Hwy 123 across from a hardware store.
Turn left and go approx. 1/2 mile.
Turn right at first light - go UNDER the railroad tracks onto "Six Mile Hwy."
Go approx. 2 miles and take a very sharp left on "OLD Six Mile Hwy" (first small road just over the first bridge) Look for main mountain bike parking lot on your left about 2.5 miles up the road.
